In 2023, the Girls’ Attitudes Survey revealed that UK girls would like more opportunities to be outdoors and in nature, have adventures and try new things. At Girlguiding, we go the extra mile to make sure girls can do these things and more. We empower girls to embrace adventure and new experiences. Our 300,000 girls aged 4-18-years-old are given the chance to:
Go on adventures

Advocate and campaign
At Girlguiding, girls are encouraged and supported to take action and help shape a more equal world. Our advocates are girls and young women aged 14-25-years-old and they speak out on issues like girls’ rights, sexual harassment, online safety, period poverty and mental health.
“I have had some very cool opportunities, for example writing for national newspapers and blogs, speaking live on radio, and creating collaborative campaigns.”
